Different Types Of Frameless Glass Shower Doors & Enclosures
INLINE SHOWER
One of the most common frameless glass shower doors, an inline shower door consists of a glass door panel connected to one or more fixed glass panels on at least one side of the door. The panels are arranged at 180 degrees creating a straight line or an inline design. Some fixed panels can be indented at one end to make it a knee wall or half wall half glass shower enclosure.
90 DEGREE CORNER SHOWER
If your shower area is in a corner, then you can add 2 additional glass walls that connect with each other at right angles, thus forming a 90 degree corner glass shower. Here, one side has a single fixed glass panel and the other side has both, a swinging glass door and one or more fixed panels. In some cases, there may be a half wall shower glass to accommodate a knee wall or half wall.
SLIDING SHOWER DOORS
Frameless sliding shower doors are a great way to upgrade your bathroom in a space-saving and stylish way. The design includes a fixed glass panel with a glass shower door that can slide in front or behind the fixed shower glass panel. Sliding glass shower doors are perfect for smaller bathrooms or tubs and can have two to three panels on the track.
NEO ANGLE SHOWER DOORS
Neo Angle Shower is another kind of corner shower. The design typically includes a glass door in the centre connected to two or more fixed glass panels on the side. These glass panels meet at an angle other than 90 degree forming a pentagon or diamond shaped space.
STEAM SHOWER DOORS
If you’d like to double up your shower stall as a steam room, then you’ll need a steam shower glass door with transom. A steam shower door is designed to prevent the steam from escaping the shower unit. The glass panels run from floor to ceiling and have air tight seals. The door will have a movable panel above the door, called transoms, that can be used as vents.

Like the name suggests, a single shower door consists of a single door that is directly fixed on the adjoining walls. The door panel is typically hinged on one side and opens in or out, depending on the design and personal preference.
